Welcome to Nursery
In England all 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours a week of free high quality early education. If you would like your child to attend Stead Lane Primary School Nursery, the term following their third birthday, you are required to fill in a Nursery Placement Application Form which can be requested by emailing email@example.com or by visiting the school office. Parents and carers are welcome to visit the Nursery to meet staff before submitting their application form, if you would like to do so please contact us on 01670 823171 to arrange an appointment. At Stead Lane Nursery we encourage independence, exploration and creativity through a curriculum which is based around play, individual interests and, above all, fun!
We place a strong emphasis on social skills, speech and language and physical development and provide a wide range of challenging experiences which support these areas.
This year our science week will focus around the big question, how can we save our oceans? We will be looking at a range of issues and by the end of the week we are hoping to inspire our pupils to be more eco-aware and want to do their bit to help the environment....read more
