A message from Mrs Gray:
I am fund raising for Macmillan this coming year and I am aiming to raise a whopping £1000 by next summer in memory of a good friend of mine. In order to help me do this I have two main ideas.
In June 2017 I will be doing the Hadrian’s Wall 26 mile hike but I would like to do something extra before then too so I have decided to have my lovely long hair cut off! This will benefit two charities associated with cancer; the Little Princess Trust will receive the hair so they can make a wig to help younger people who have lost their hair due to cancer and the money I raise by doing this will go to Macmillan.
To help me raise money I would like to give your child the chance of cutting off my hair in front of the whole school! To be in with a chance of doing this they can pay £1.00 and have their name entered into the draw, then in assembly on the first week back after half term, one lucky winner will get to do the big snip off!
If your child would like to cut off my hair then please send their £1.00 into school no later than 9.00am on Friday 4th November. Equally any other donations to Macmillan would be gratefully received.
Thank you for your support,
